Kettlebells, Posture and All That Other Stuff That's Good For You

Neck tension is your fault!

You heard me! Neck tension is your fault.

As long as you keep on sitting at your desk, you will have neck tension. Human bodies are made for movement – a lot of movement. Inactivity is killing us!

NASA did a study to find out effects of weightlessness. The way they went about it was by putting people to bedrest. Many bad things happened after just 10 hours of bed rest. And most of us spend at least 10 hours sitting!

What do to:

* get up every 20-30 minutes and move around
* do postural exercises
* stop sitting!
* exercise regularly, use functional training (kettlebells, yoga, pilates)

What you can do right now:

To re-balance upper back and neck region try this simple exercise – arms circles

You can do it sitting, standing or kneeling

Do 50 circles one way, 50 the other

Make sure that your shoulders blades are being squeezed together during the exercise
