About Coach Kanygin

Coach Denis started kettlebell training early in life, at age of 8 1/2. Training started with kettlebell juggling and gradually progressed to full blown GS (Kettlebell Sport) training.
Denis started competing at the age of 14 but a year later, his family moved to United States and kettlebell sport had to be put on hold.
In United States Coach Kanygin pursued carrier in Mathematics, Analysis and Science. Denis was part of the research team, working for NASA (see Optimal Partitions of Data in Higher Dimensions) and later pursued successful carrier as a software engineer.
After 4 years of engineering, Coach Denis followed his heart and started fitness business which quickly grew into full time endeavor.
As kettlebells became available in United States, Denis started teaching kettlebell technique that he practiced for so many years.
In addition to being a kettlebell coach, Denis studied human biomechanics and function. He completed all 3 levels of Muscle Balance and Function(r) course offered by guru and one of the founding therapists of Eugoscue method and started practicing postural therapy.
Kettlebells and postural therapy proved to be a powerful combination, helping people to regain function, get rid of pain, lose weight and become stronger then ever.
For the last 10 years, coach Denis has been sharing his kettlebell training knowldege based in GS (Kettlebell Sport) with thousands of people.
Coach Denis is now a Technical and Kettlebell Sport Advisor to IKFF. He was responsible for creating new kettlebell sport rankings for IKFF (see Story of IKFF Sport Rankings).
Coach Kanygin is now teaching his kettlebell training methodology based in pure Russian GS training methods coupled with his experience as postural therapist.
